It's Chinese new year today, so I caught up with Tans, Nika, Luke and David for movie and dinner. We went to see The Hurt Locker in George St cinema. We actually didn't know anything about the movie at all besides that it got a lot of Oscar nominations. We also wanted to choose a movie that is as far away from a rom-com since its also Valentine's day today. So we ended up choosing this movie. It's about the lives of these bomb squad technicians in Iraq. Its a very intense movie. It almost feels like you're there with them. I give the movie 4 and a half out of 5.
After that, we went to Delima for dinner. Its pouring on the way there, so we ran like crazies. We were so drenched by the time we got there. The weathers been really bad lately. Luckily, the food was great as usual. It was a really fun day, spending chinese new year and valentine's with my friends. I'm so lucky to have them all:)
