Iwan invited me to his B'day bash on Sunday nite. Well it's a joined B'day between him and Dean. It's held at Strike Bar, King St Wharf. It's a B'day package thing that starts off with a free cocktails, followed by selections of gourmet pizzas, 2 games of bowling and karaoke or pool, all for $36 per person which I think is quite cheap.
It was a really fun night, got to meet a couple of friends that I haven't seen in ages like Igor and Will and it turns out they're all quite crap in bowling since I ended up winning and I know that I'm quite crap myself. Josh came closely second:).

I went to Bungalow 8 today for Yas' B'day drinks. Bungalow 8 is a bar/club thing located in King St wharf. The party was good but the weather was really crap. It was super hot, sticky and humid so we were all sweating like crazy. I was doing the fan dance thing with the drink menu. Tash gave me a lift home at around midnight. That's me and the b'day girl on the first pic.

Tonight I went clubbing with Sandy and his friends to Heaven nightclub. This place was so popular when I was here 2 yrs ago. I even spent my NYE last time here. But tonight the place was dead. Well not as busy as it used to. I think it's because they have another competitor now. We didn't stay for too long here.
After that, one of Sandy's friend gave me a lift back home because he lived nearby. But before we go home, we went to grab something to eat. We drove to Kemang area to buy food from the stalls on the street. Oh how I missed eating here. Everytime me and Sandy finished clubbing, we always come here and eat lamb fried rice and satay. It taste so good!:) I think they're open 24 hours, because when we got there it's already 2.30 am.

Another day, another mall hahahaha, well actually it's still Grand Indonesia again. This mall is actually not even close to my house. It's like 30-40 mins drive to get there. Anyway, caught up with everyone again for dinner and then after, we moved to the mall beside it, Plaza Indonesia for a bit of a drink. You would think it would be easy to move because its just across the street. Wrong! you have to go back to the car again and move the car to the next mall. It's because both malls are so big, its takes us forever to go back and forth.
We had drinks at Cork n' Screw. I don't know what wine my friends ordered but it was so nice and sweet. In jakarta, theres no rule about alcohol limits and stuff, so everyone can drink freely and drive after that. I remembered when I went back last time and me and my friend were so drunk we took 2 lanes and stopped every 10 minutes to puke on the side of the road. since he got some police/military symbol on his car, no one dare to stop us. Man, that was some crazy times:)
After that, we all went out to Dragonfly. It's one of the hippest, coolest club in Jkt right now. You have to be on the list to get in apparently, and lots of Indonesian celebrities and socialites go there. I wouldn't know if I bumped into any of them since I don't really watch Indonesian Tv much. The club itself isn't too big. It's alright I guess. Lots of foreigners too. I'm not feeling the music much and we only stayed there for like an hour or so.

It was a fun party. Her place is really nice. We drank a lot, nixing and mixing other people's drink hahaha. It's also Bec Haddad b'day today, so Jenk suprised her with b'day cupcakes.
Once we finished at Jenk's, me and Iwan continued going out to Oxford street, until we got kicked out from the club there because Iwan was closing his eyes for a while. The bouncers thought he was drunk, so we went to grab a bite at Olympic Yeeros before we went home.
After I went back, I realised I left my wallet at the restaurant. Thinking that someone prob already took it, I rang the bank straight away to cancelled my card. Once everything cancelled, Iwan rang me and told me they found my wallet there and gonna keep it until I can pick up tomorrow, yayy...at least I can have my other cards back now.

Joel and I went to the Australian Idol live taping today at Fox studio. We got there a bit too early as I overestimated the time it took to get there and find decent parking :P When we got to the queuing area, lots of people were already there dressed up in pink because tonight the contestants were singing Pink's songs.
It was fun, albeit long!! We were so hungry by the time the show finished, that we went to get something to eat at the Bavarian beer cafe restaurant - about 5 mins walk away from the studio. Again, we overestimated the amount of food we thought we could eat and ordered way too much hahaha. The sampler platter was amazing and I think if it's only 2 ppl eating, you can just order 1 serve. My beer was yummy too, it was peached flavoured :) deff will go to eat there again next time.
We then decided to go out for a bit to Oxford st - since it's nearby. The timing of us leaving Fox studio couldn't have been any worse. Parklife music festival just finished nearby so everyone's was trying to get out of the area... the heavy rain didn't help either. It took us more than an 1 hr to get out of there and find a park on Oxford st. Overall it's was a really fun night, tiring but I had a really good time:)

Its my friend Iwan's Birthday today. Happy 21st Mista!! enjoy it while it lasts hahaha. To celebrate we took a water taxi cruise from Circular Quay to Wollomolloo via Darling Harbour, which I've never done before. It was fun, albeit cold! We then went for dinner at Ouzo88 in Kings X. It's a modern Greek restaurant and the food was amazing. We ordered the $40/person banquet and it was more than enough!! Calamari, chicken sticks, lambs... I was so full by the end of it, and the yummy gelato B'day cake didn't help either:)
We then walked to Oxford Street to continue the celebration. Met up with Ivan and then Club-hopping and drinking for a couple of hours. It was soo much fun and I was sooo tired by the end of it. Great night all around:)

After work we went to see Beyoncé in concert at Acer arena. By we I mean Tash, me, Ewan and Dean. Before that, Tash and I had dinner at a Thai restaurant in Capitol Square. Pad Sew Yew duck.. yummyyyyyyy :)
Bumped into Rach and Demeter at the concert. Well, Dem was sitting behind us with her friends. The concert itself was nothing short of amazing. She worked her ass off and her voice, arghh... perfection :) Especially when she sang Ave Maria. Great costumes too and super hot backup dancers hahaha:P
The highlight of the concert was the last song when she pulled this sweet little girl (Chelsea) who's battling cancer and dedicated the song Halo for her. Most of the audience was in tears. It was really sweet of her to do that and I truly hope that the little girl wins her fight with cancer.
After the concert we headed out to the city for a bit of clubbing where I caught up with Adrian, Raffi, and James. My feet were almost killing me by then and we didn't stay out too late. Was a really superb nite :)

*SATURDAY POST*
Didn't do much at all during daytime, just lazed around at home watching The Jonas Brothers on Saturday Disney. It was alrite, it's not as funny as Hannah Montana though. YES! I know!!, Zip it ppl:P
I went for dinner at Fujiya - It's a japanese restaurant on the corner of George and Goulburn St. I've been there so many times, especially love their calpis and chuhai drink and fried camembert. Teriyaki bento box as usual for me :)
We then walked around Darling Harbour after dinner and ended up at Star City casino. They're doing a huge renovation ATM, so it was a bit of a hassle to find the entrance. Got my ID checked twice too... woohoo!!
Had a nice cocktail at the bar there, my first time since I came back from Fiji! Yay!!
After that, we went to Slide in Oxford Street. Didn't know there was a DIVA fundraiser there. Every dollar from the $10 entry fee will be donated to the new DIVA organisation. They were doing a fashion show of old costumes that had been used by some of the sydney drag performers. The best thing about Slide is their colorful dance floor, always reminds me of the movie Studio 54 ...If you could read my mind love....
Had a couple of drinks there and we even managed to steal some food from the birthday party on the first floor hahaha :P
Huge shout out to Adam! Happy birthday Mista! wish u all the best in everything!!
