Day 7 - Cake and ice cream

I thought today was going to drag on and on but it's actually quite alright, perhaps because we had a long lunch to celebrate Bec's birthday in a café near Central. It's quite a nice change from the restaurant to which we usually go for lunch.

We then had a nice yummy b'day cake. Had mine with ice cream of course hahaha. Happy Birthday again Bec! Hope you had a good one:) 40 is the new 20...I'M KIDDING!!!!:P

Went back home and watched Idol which I Tivo'd last nite. I was thinking about doing some exercise but instead ended up chatting online with my friends. Ah well, there's always gonna be tomorrow.
Big thanks to Jenks and Joel:)

I was supposed to go for swimming today, but ended up spending the arvo watching Kids Choice Awards on telly. Miley was performing her new song "Party in the USA" and its freakingly catchy. Been playing the song nonstop all afternoon. Damn you, Miley!!

I then went to Dendy cinemas Newton to see Inglourious Basterds with Tom. Love the movie. It’s gruesome yet sad and funny. The bad guy is so hilariously evil, and Brad Pitt isn't bad to look at :P Highly recommended.

Finished it off with eel bowl from Sushi train, yummy! and back to work again tomorrow. Man, there goes another weekend:(

Have a great week ahead everyone:)

Day 5 - Dinner at Luke's

Happy saturday everyone!!

I went for a coffee with Ry in Newtown. There is track work over the weekend, so I had to catch a bus to get there. Hate hate hate bus, give me train anytime!

Sittings in front of this scary old drunk guy, I almost burst out laughing when he start giving advice about how to control and knowing your limit to the poor girl who sat beside him.

After that, I went to Sydenham for dinner at Luke and Hai's place. They been wanting me to visit their place for ages! Luke made a nice veggie salad and lasagna, and we had yummy choc cake for dessert. Thanks Luke, feel free to invite me again anytime :-)

Day 4 - Bula!

Nothing much is really happening today. I was going to take pics of my lunch, which is noodle with chicken and crispy fish ball, but I was too lazy to take the camera out! oh well, next time:)

I Went to Fiji a couple weeks ago. It was amazing! We stayed at the Westin resort, which I recommend very much. The weather was nice and hot; drizzling for a little bit, but not really a big deal. The food...hmmmm...The food was so yummy!! Nothing beats champagne and orange juice for breakfast hahaha. I drank lots of cocktails too, the highlight was the butterscotch delight. Two thumbs up:-)

It was so relaxing there, pure bliss! I can guarantee you, that if I stayed there for at least 3 months, I’ll be so fit and hot lol. Lots of swimming involved.

Well, since I have to put up at least 1 new pic a day, the creative me took this pic of my mini plastic figurine with a Fiji postcard background. A for effort I say:P

WORD OF THE DAY courtesy of Demeter:

1 more sleep til weekend...YAYYYYY!!!

oh, I stole this quote from my friend facebook status, and I think it's nice to share it with everyone:

"Life is too short for being upset on things, better put on a smile, head up high, and walk the earth with love"

Day 2 - Joshie's back!!

It's about time! haven't since him in ages, well 2 weeks technically, but it seems like forever. so much has been happening in the past 2 weeks, and its nice to finally catch up with him for some goss session.

He's just came back from a nice relaxing holiday in thailand, and it shows! he brought me this knock-off davidoff Cool Water perfume, haven't smelled it yet, but he said it smells exactly the same like the real one, uhuhh, suree:P

After catching up with Josh, I rang Tans and she happened to be nearby, so we decided to catch up for a small chat at Town Hall station, yea, you heard it right, inside the station, thats where all the cool and crazy (literally) people hang out now apparently.

It's nice to catch up with both of them, so much goss, so much stuff to talk/whinge/whine about, and maybe we will go on holiday together, right Tans? Josh? :P
beats watching the same old fireworks I say.

Huge shout out to Klai and Edo, congrats on baby Phoebe, she's so gorgeous and you guys are gonna make amazing parents for her.

Big thanks to David too:)

Day 1 - Cheapskate Tuesday

So this is officially my first post..yippe yayyy:) Crack open the champagne bottle:)

I caught up with my friends, Luke, Iwan, and Dean tonight for our cheap tuesday movie, Haven't seen Luke in months actually, so it's good to finally catch up with him:)
We went to see District 9, a movie by Peter Jackson about aliens who got stranded on earth, living as refugees and trying to go back to their planet. It's quite an interesting movie, the special effects look great, not as fake as G.I. Joe.
The movie itself reminds me of Cloverfield, with the faux-documentary style hand-held camera angles, which actually give me a bit of headache, and of course, with movies nowadays, the ending is open for a sequel. Overall, I give the movie 4 out of 5:)
